SCREEN PRINTERS FOR OPACS

Greetings from Texas Woman's University
We need to add some additional printers for OPAC screen printers,
and purchased several Epson LX-810 with Epson Serial adapter board #8143, the
problem is that we cannot get them to work with our Wyse 185 terminals.
I am interested in knowing if anyone has Epson printers with the Wyse 185
terminals. We have a number of older FX series printers but they all have the
"former GEAC serial interface adaptor boards because it was our only choice
with the GEAC 8000 system.

We have an FX-850 purchased from Geac, with a serial interface board.
Geac connected it to one of our Wyse 185 and it is working fine.
We have been using it to print the help screens in order to revise
and adapt them to our site (using F2 on the terminal, for local print
only).
I am not sure if it will work with the "Print" option found on the
bottom of many ADVANCE screens. So far, we put a lot of energy on
the system printers, and only one of them works properly.
