Question about Hitachi FDX Series 43FDX10B 43" Rear Projection Television
Green color is bowing down from the top of screen and is going straight across the bottom Hitachi 43FDX20B RPTV...I have a convergence problem, words, etc not exactly in focus, 3-D like effect... How difficult is it to remove the circuit board to replace the chips/resistors? Any chances of getting shocked? Thanks!
Not that bad to remove
As long as it is unpluged you won't get shocked
Look to the right of the boards Remove all the little screws from the convergence board
Make sure you mark or notate where the correctors go
Flip up the little connectors to the left of the board
Do not force the board up if you have to force it you missed a screw
use solder wick and remove the parts
make sure there are no shorts and you replace all the resistors in the kit
