Hi orvil brad hear I would check the ing. fuses you have at least one and maby two in the inside cab fuse block, and also one or two in the engine bay fuse panel, there is also a relay located in the eng. bay panel, also you may check the ing. wire that goes to the coil system, This wire will have no 12volts until the ing. switch is turned on then it will show 12volts. It has a habit of coming loose at the coil sometimes. Good luck

Does the Van Crank over?
Have you checked the IGN Relays? 1,2,and 3?
How did the Battery test out?
Anything below 11.9v battery is dead.
So I suggest that you do not throw any more parts and check the battery again.

check if you have fuel pressure you probally shorted out the fuel pump fuse. like i did when i changed out my fuel pump. if you changed your cap rotor plugs and wires it is probally not that.

Well if theres power going to the relay but not out, then you need a new relay. If theres power in and out of the relay, you might need a new fuel pump. The electric fuel pumps inside the tank are actually lubricated by the fuel as it pumps it, and if it runs dry long enough, it can burn out the pump

Chevy venture low power

What is the mileage on the van?Is it high?Could be weak fuel pressure, restricted exhaust or a jumped timing chain if low power is present.I am assuming you have checked the air and fuel filter and the van is running on all 6 cylinders?

I have a 97 Chevy Venture Van with a weakening fuel level sensor.

No it's not, if your van is running fine, fuel pump is good, just the fuel gauge sending unit is bad, to repair, the gas tank will have to come off, the sending unit sit on the same hanger the fuel pump is on.

1998 chevy venture stalls periodically stalls.restarts after 2 ho

Could be fuel pump , fuel filter, alternator, have you had a tuneup lately changed spark plugs recently. try doing some of these things first. If you turn the key on and all the lights work probably not the alternator

check to make sure the security light is not on if it is the van will have spark but no injecter pulse the best way to solve this issue is to have the original igniton key and put it in the igniton in the run position and leave it on for 10 minutes then the light will flash then try to start the van
