SC390: TD sensor error

The TD sensor outputs less than 0.5V or more than 4.0V 10 times consecutively

during copying.

- Possible causes -

· TD sensor abnormal
· Poor connection of the PCU

SC390 = Toner Density Sensor abormality

Possible causes:

• Poor concentration of developer
• Toner density sensor faulty

Are the prints/copies coming out ok? If the copies are very faint or heavily overtoned then changing the developer may cure the error code. If the copies look OK then you probably need to get the toner density sensor replaced by an engineer.

Unfortunately there is little you can do legally. Unless you find the manual or perhaps contact the develepors help line and see if they can do anything you're pretty stuck.

the problem is with the toner density sensor.a quick fix would be to replace the photoconductor unit.thereafter you need to do the developer initialization adjustment.

Develepor unit failure. Did you by any chance remove the Develepor unit? or did you come close to the wire connector located behind the toner bottle if so reconnect it. NOTE ! Before checking any connector make sure the power is off and not plugged into the wall outlet ....Good Luck
