Question about Fuji FinePix Digital Camera
Our Finepix a825 digital camera has recently developed a problem where it will only take about 8 to 10 pictures before the low battery indicator comes on. I have been using energizer rechargeable batteries. I have purchased several sets of new batteries and even a new charger, but now I'm convinced that the problem is with the camera. I'm wondering what would cause a camera to all of a sudden develop this problem and if there is a solution to it.
2 long shots as I don't know anything about the a825
Some cameras have a setting in their menu that allows you to choose between alkaline or NiMh (rechargable). If the setting is wrongly set to alkaline when using rechargable it is unlikely to recognise that the batteries are charged and would report low battery. Check your manual to see if their is a select battery setting and check whether it is set correctly.
Occasionally errors on digital cameras can be corrected by removing the memory card and batteries, leaving for 2-3 days and then putting back in the batteries, turning on, turning off, putting the memory card back in and turning back on.
