Can not read HDD data in toshiba e-studio 600

I buy this copier with this problem, the other owner said that he tryed to change the Hdd. I try c+3 on and option 3, and have this problem. Do i need to format the HDD or load any kind of data?

Ah, a common one. Here goes Juan.

You've already replaced the drive and gone with the 3-C Power on option 3. What you'll have to do now is get your hands on the firmware. For the 850 series (the 600 is part of that series) I believe it is SYS 356. You may have to get ahold of a certified Toshiba dealer to get your hands on that firmware. Good thing is it's easy once you've got it.

Put it on a thumbdrive (1 GB or smaller), insert it on the right rear of the machine, hold down 4-9 power on and you'll be in firmware update mode.

Just in case I'm wrong about the version, keep an eye out for the NIC firmware to be selected. If it is, unselect it, it will FRY that NIC card, trust me.

Toshiba 451c "can not find HDD data" message

Had the same problem and solved inserting and extracting the card a whole bunch of times and blowing hard inside the slot. You can also try using the rubber to clean the contacts of the SD. God luck.

F105 failed error

[F105] HDD other error
(1) Check if the connectors of the HDD are disconnected.
(2) Check if the connector pins are disconnected or the wires of harnesses are open circuited.
(3) Perform the bad sector check (08-694). If the check result is OK, recover t he data in the HDD. If
the check result is failed, replace the HDD.
(4) Replace the SYS board.

U need to update firmware if replace HDD

Toshiba estudio 282 code F100

After replace new hdd, u need to performs following:

Update of HDD program data and UI data.

1) Create partitions. (In case of using the download jig, this is not necessary.)
While pressing [3] and [CLEAR] button, turn the power ON.
When "Firmware Version Up Mode" appears on the LCD, key in [3] and press the [START]
button.

2) Format the HDD. (Setting Mode (08-690: 2))

3) Update with the download jig or USB storage.

4) Format the HDD. (Setting Mode (08-690: 2))
* When the FAX unit (GD-1150) is installed.
Start up with the FAX Clearing Mode (1*)
Perform the 1*-100 (FAX Set Up), 1*-102 (Clearing the image data) of the FAX Clearing Mode.

F101 Error Toshiba estudio2040c

F101-4: Partition mount error (The HDD cannot be connected (mounted) caused by damage to the "/work" partition.)

1. Turn the power of the equipment OFF and check the connection of the HDD.
- Connector and harness check
- Check if the connector pins of the HDD are bent.
- Check if HDD for other equipment is not installed.
- Check if SRAM for other equipment is not installed.

2. If the error still occurs after step 1, perform the following.
- Perform [3C] - [5] (Key Backup Restore) and check that each Key Status is "OK".
- If not, recover the key (copy "SRAM Key Status" to "FROM Key Status" or vice versa).

3. If the error persists after step 2, perform
[5]+[C]+[POWER]?2. Recovery F/S?3. /work, and then restart the equipment.

4. If the error persists after step 3, perform
[5]+[C]+[POWER]?3. Initialize HDD?2. /work, and then restart the equipment.

5. If the error still persists after step 4, perform the following.
- Perform [3C] - [3] (Format HDD), and then install "System Software (HD data)" with [49] - [4].

Notes:
The following items will be deleted by performing [3C] - [3] (Format HDD).
• Message Log
• Job Log
• Spool Data (Print, Email reception)
• Template
If the error persists after performing step 5, perform step 5 after performing [4]+[C]+[POWER]?1. Revert factory initial status HDD.

6. If the error persists even after step 5, replace the HDD.

F103 indicates HDD transfer time-out.
U can try format the HDD (08-690).
Then u perform the bad sector check (08-694). *take long time
If the check result is OK, recover the data in the HDD. If
