Front left speaker on car quit working

What would cause the front left speaker to quit working on my car. I took the door panel off and checked the speaker and wires and all is ok. What else would cause it to stop working. I tried to research on the website and the best I can see is it might me a amplifier under the seat? Any ideas? Thanks, Jim

Its the wires in your drivers side door jam, the become brittle from constant opening and closing of the door. I had the same problem with my 1996 Camry but it was effecting my power windows and door locks also, What I did was take the rubber tube out of the drivers door with all the wires running into the car, cuting them all off, resplicing all the wires and connecting them with connectors, wrapping each one with electrical tape and then all of them together with the tape and after I did this all my windows works, all the door locks and the front speaker too! I did this over a year ago and havent had one bit a trouble since, good luck!

PANEL/CLUSTER LIGHTS HAS GONE OUT AFTER REPLACING RADIO. WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS PROBLEM AND HOW CAN I SOLVE?

radio may have been wired improperly or fuse may have blown. First check fuses. Below is the color scheme for your radio wiring. The dimmer wire is White with a green stripe. This wire should be connected to the orange wire of your aftermarket stereo. If you have an unusual stereo, leave the factory wire unhooked (and insulated) until you can verify which wire on your stereo is for the light. Let me knoiw if you have questions.

Radio gets no power, fuses and wires are good

Check your connections again. Check that they're connected correctly. Look at a diagram, check the fuse on the power (red) wire from the radio. The radio might have fuses on the back of it, check them too. If anything put and tape every thing back together and use a harness then go from there.

Auto speaker wire diagram

FYI - I just took our 2004 Sequoia in because of speaker rattle coming from the front door speakers. Before I could tell them the problem, they guessed what it was. They see loads of Sequoias and Tundras with JBL systems due to the front door 8in speaker, basically, coming apart. His suggestion was to replace only the bottom 8in speaker, because the top tweeters usually are in good working condition. There is a minimal failure rate on the tweeters.
