Question about Alps MD 1000 Thermal Printer
I have an Alps 1000 printer which is making a grinding noise , it sounds like a gear is misaglined or broken and I would like to have a look inside but I cant seem to get the outer main cover off , that is without the chance of breaking the cover . Does anyone know if or where there are securing tags , hidden screws ?? . Cheers Kevin
Remove the 4 screws holding the main feed tray. Then GENTLY pry the tabs on both edges of the printer. They are really tight! The fit is great but once you break the "seal" so to say the whole cover just pops off.
