Question about Fishman Audio Amp Temp - Green Amplifier Temperature Gauge - Amplifier Temperature Gauge Green LED Car Audio Amplifier

1 Answer

Bottom E string has low volume

My Tanglewood electro-acoustic has a built in Fishman pickup. I've recently changed the strings (as usual) and when I plug it in, there is very low volume on the bottom E string. The other strings are fine and I have played it through different amps/PA etc. This hasn't happened before. I've changed the battery in the pickup. There is some sound coming from the E string but it is significantly lower.
PS I couldn't find the product in the search box.

How change strings gibson guitar?

One of the best was to keeping your guitar in tune, is to also string it correctly and use new strings . Make sure the first winding of a new string around the tuner post goes over the exposed tip of the new string. The rest of the windings go under the exposed tip of the string. This will keep the string clamped firmly in place. Use 4-5 turns around the post for unwound strings, 2-3 for wound strings, in a downward spiral towards the bottom of the post as shown in the photo.-Tom, 30yr player.

I tune my guitars at 400 using a clip on tuner, which I believe is concert pitch I've recently bought a 5 string blue grass banjo .I set tuner to c mode to tune banjo is this correct

Actually, concert pitch is A=440 rather than A=400. Normally a 5 string banjo is tuned G (octave) D G B D though many variations exist.

How to operate an acoustic fender electric guitar Fishman tuner

If it's the same as mine, the tuner has a little clothespin clip. You clip that on to your guitar's headstock and turn it around till you can see the screen while picking strings. The tuner picks up vibrations through the headstock and with it's microphone and it tells you what it hears. The little needle tells you the note and if the string you're plucking is below that note, above that note or right on. You have to figure out if you're in the right octave on your own.

After installation, the treble strings are much louder than the bass strings

Try adjusting with the EQ settings on the amp... boost the bass and trim the highs.

Hi ive had a fishman pick up installed under saddle of my accoustic guitar its fine but something is wrong becuase wen im slapping the strings and tapping guitar the sound goes very quiet for around 1...

It is possiblle that the sudden pulse from the pickup due to tapping is saturating the input of your amplifier, and that is what actually kills the signal. Try this into a different amp as a test. Once you do the test I can offer some suggestions to try.

Fishman Prefix Plus preamp on my acoustic guitar picks up the unwound strings well but the wound strings are barely audible

You could try boosting the bass and reducing the highs on the EQ setting, however there MAY be a probllem with the pickup, not the preamp.

I have a fishman tele power bridge and one of the trandsducers, the A string, is not as loud as he other strings. And it seems to always have a buzzing problem. Not humming, but more like the strings is to...

I would first investigate if the string itself MAY have a problem. If the strings are old, say over a year, try a new set. The only other likely cause of the problem is the setup of the unit.
