i noticed that that model has no front built in camera so i guess you have a usb web cam, the web cam should of came with a disc that does the installation process for you, without that you possibly wont be able to do anything with that webcam
Well, there are many things one can do. The most efficient way is to upgrade the CPU to a faster one and installing more RAM. Also, be sure to do a scan for spyware with something like Spybot. Lots of users report that by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer increases their systems security.
Remove any unneeded Start Up items in your system tray. If you click on Start, then Run... and type in msconfig and then press OK, it will bring you to the System Configuration Utility. Click on the Startup tab and disable anything you don't need. It's easy enough to simply google a startup item listed to find out what the program does and then you can make a decision from there.
