Once you download the driver just extract it or intsall and while extracting you can see the location where its gonna be located so just copy and paste it while locating your location.

I install my vga driver and after installation my lcd is not supporting resolution settings and get blank whats the matter

The wrong video driver maybe installed.
Use the Service tag number to get the correct video driver.
You can download the video and device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, theService Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Trouble with HDMI output on Acer Aspire D257 Netbook.

VGA Driver? Does your tv have a VGA Connection? Have you selected PC or HDMI as your input source on the TV? Have you hit the FN Function Key on the laptop + the corresponding F1 thru F12 key that displays the image on the TV?

Press and Hold the FN key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that displays on the tv. The correct F1 thru F12 key will probably have LCD/CRT on it or it might have the icon of a display.

For Drivers: They won't be called VGA but either (Display, Video or Graphics Drivers)
Get onlineand got to In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download andinstall the drivers.

Hello Balaji.R,

You will need to download the correct VGA driver from Acer website and install it.
Please click the link below to download the driver needed.

You will need to select the Product Family: Notebook, then Product Line: Aspire and Product Model: Aspire 5738zG

Then it will show all available drivers for your notebook. First select the correct Operating System: (example: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition) and locate the correct VGA driver for your computer and click on it to download it. Make sure to remember where you will save it since you will need to browse the driver file after download is completed.

After downloading the driver, locate it and just install it by double-clicking the file.

I have installed all the T60 drivers, chipsets, including Ati video driver and display and presentation driver but in device manager it still says the video controller driver is not installed?

It needs the vga drivers installed. If you have the motherboard cd, follow the instructions as follows; Right click on the "Video Control <Vga compatible>" Select "Update Driver" Select the button "No not this time only" (if you don't see this, skip to next step) Check "Include this location in the search" and click "Browse" and locate the vga or graphics or display folder in your cd directory (folders in your cd-rom) When you have selected the correct location, you'll be able to click "Ok" & "Next" you may get a warning message, just click "continue anyway" or "yes" whichever keeps you moving and it'll automatically install the driver, please note that when it's done, you'll be presented with a message "Restart now" or "restart later" you can select whatever is best for you. If you select "Restart now" the system will automatically restart itself and the problem will be fixed. In case if you don't restart, the changes in the display will take affect until you restart your system. Just wondering did you download ATI Radeon...or Catalyst? Might make a difference if you don't have the CD.Good luck.
If this helps you resolve your problem, please
consider giving me a good rating and a quick
thanks or good job.It will help me as well.
Thank you.

IBM T60, installed Windows XP Pro. Device Manager lists video controller and video controller (VGA Compatable) with question mark over devices. Model is 195143U what drivers are needed and where do I get...

Hi. The question mark means that there is no driver for that specific hardware. You can download every software and driver for your machine on the Lenovo driver support website, just type in there the serial no. of your laptop and it will give you every hardware for your laptop. click here for the website of Lenovo driver support. Hope This Helps

I formated my dell inspiron 4150 (PIV) and after installation of window, the display (vga) is not o.k. i need to download the vga driver for installtion? how do i get the vga driver? thanks

Go to and select "I'm looking for drivers and downloads". If you don't have the proper version of Adobe you will be prompted to install it. Once installed return to "drivers and downloads" and enter the "service tag",(serial number) of the laptop. Dell keeps a listing of drivers for every customer's computer they sell.

Thank You.
