This unit can be repair only by the manufacture or a 3rd party that repairs them, They will put in a new touch screen the cost may be more then you can get a new unit for due to GPS pricing going way down.
This will require a new LCD replacement. I was quoted on this when I damage my old Toshiba. It costs about $300 to have it replaced. You can get a new screen from eBay for about $200, but you need to verify its compatibility and make sure you read all the tutorials online before proceeding.
