Question about Alpine CDM-7857 CD Player
So I've got this great Alpine CDM-7857 head unit. I've seen adapters that adapt AI-NET CD changer ports to RCA inputs (for use with MP3 players and such), but I'm not sure if they're what I need. They show a DIN-sized jack but with two large prongs on the inside. Mine looks more like a DIN jack - it has several pins on the inside. However, the manual for the head unit promotes some AI-NET CD changers, so... now I'm just confused. Thanks!
Your alpine unit is the old "M-BUS" the other adapter you are talking about is an "AI-BUS" adapter. (Hence the model numbers beginning with CD"M" or CD"A" ...)
Look for an Alpine M-Bus to RCA Input adapter.
heres one on eay for less than 10.00 including shipping.
