My videocon fully automatic washing machine (45FDx) is 7 years old. It is continuously showing E2 error. I have called the company technician but not of much use. Can u help pleae?

what's the full model number ?i've never worked on one of these and sure sooner or later i will get a call for one so i started to check it out,from what i've found like on older whirlpool top loaders there's a hall sensor or speed or position sensor on the motor and this could be the problem

also i found a video from whirlpool and they show the error 551,they show that it could be from oversudsing,the washer is trying to pump out the water and if there's to much suds it can't pump suds so the motor could overheat,if there's water still in tub i would check the pump to see if anything is in there.send model number i'd like to check it out.

E 2 error in top load

I also have a Toshiba AW-9790S, and encountered similar problem. The E2-3 would occur sporadically and halt the washing programme. E2-3 error occurs when the washing machine detects that the lid is not properly seated and locked during the rinse or spin cycles. I took mine apart and resolved my problem by cleaning the contacts for the switches. There are 2 contact switches at the lower right side; 1 for sensing the lid is closed and 1 for sensing that the lid lock is engaged. Both the switches were slightly oxidized which prevented current flow and the sensors from working properly.

Error = OVERFLOW ERROR
Cause & Solution =
The water is supplied continuously due to an defective inlet valve. Change the valve inlet.
The valve inlet is normal, but the water level sensor Change the water level sensor
(sensor pressure) is low. (sensor pressure).
The drain motor does not work - Test and if faulty change the drain pump


Message = E9
Error = SENSOR PRESSURE ERROR
Cause & Solution = The water level sensor is faulty. Change the water level sensor. (remove pressure tube and blow through it to make sure it is clear first)

E9 means the water level sensor is defective or the pipe connected to it is faulty.Generally error E9 means a problem with your water pressure sensor. do you have water in the tub? Check the sensor by pulling the hose attached to the bottom part of the tub and blow on it and test the terminals of the sensor if it will close or open.
