How to install the jumper in normal mode?

Hi,
If i am correct, the computer starts up and you see the setup page. It then says that you are supposed to place the jumper in the normal position and It happens every time.

If this is correct, it is telling you that there is a jumper on the motherboard (probably labeled "clear CMOS) and it's set in the incorrect position. There will be three pins. The jumper is installed across two of them. Move the jumper (the little plastic thing) to the other setting: for example, if it's installed on pins 1 and 2, move it to 2 and 3. Give that a try.

The jumper should look something like this: http://tinyurl.com/l8hvqr

Will probably work for you.

ATX93-3405 WHEN I TURN ON THE POWER THE SCREEN SAYS -

There are many jumpers on the motherboard, drives, and such. Is there a title to the error that might possibly identify which jumper they are referring to? I have one for overclocking, one for chassis intrusion, one for ide mode in SATA, and on, and on. What does it say "before" "turn off power..." is there some kind of error name? My suggestion, get the manual for the motherboard, adn look on the page that has the picturial diagram, and identifies all the components on the board. It will indicate all the jumpers, and the default positions. It shouldn't say that though, unless something has changed. So, either you changed the jumper's original position, OR, you changed some hardware configuration that has made your current jumper position erroneous.

Turn off power and reinstall the jumper in normal mode position

Some MB's have a second jumper setting on the board to allow a technician to jump to a faster "trouble shooter" configuration. After any or no changes are made to the BIOS's configuration the BIOS wants the The tech to reset the jumper back to "Normal Mode" so the customer doesn't have an overclocked or "hyper"machine voiding it's warrantee. I have seen this on some mostly older boards including Intel's who are known for down speeding their MB's. Check the websit for the MB's manual and see if it tells you where the jumper is located. If not, Also try to update the BIOS to the latest version and this may resolve your problem. Hope so.
