Page fault in non paged area

Hi,
Thanks in advance for your help and concern. I have a gateway tower that
we're trying to install NT 4.0 on , and we keep having the computer lock up
when we reboot. It gives us a page of hex numbers, with the error "page
fault in non-paged area". We've tried swapping out the ram, video card,
pulled all the other cards, and we still keep getting the same error.
Any ideas.
The gateway motherboard is #4000294.
