Check the glow ignitor on the right side of the dryer if you are looking at the front on the bottom side and make sure that it is not cracked

Go to your local appliance repair shop with the glow ignitor removed and in your hand and ask them for that part and then install it, Please make sure unit is unplugged before you start the install. Price is no more the 25 dollars

Where to find fuses. My dryer is not heating up.

Does your dryer have power? If yes, then check (1) the flow of air outside the house from your dryer tube and (2) your circuit breaker panel for each circuit in the house (I've not seen fuses/breakers built into dryers -- though that could change). Then check (3) your heating element, (4) thermostat, (5) high-temp thermal cutoff switch, and (6) for debris in the air flow path to / from from the centrifugal fan.

Kenmore series 90 electric dryer: exhaust air is

that's normal, obviously you haven't cleaned out your dryer and vent line, nobody ever tells the customer when you buy your dryer that it should be cleaned out at least once a year so you don't have a fire more so if it's a gas dryer with an open flame inside the dryer, you gotta vac out the inside where the motor is,clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into and blow out the vent line,i use a leaf blower to clean out the vent line, take it off the back of the dryer, stick the leaf blower in the line if it's a long run if it runs through the wall and to the outside flapper and blow all the **** out of it,also if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow off the motor, you won't believe how much lint comes off the motor even though it looks clean,so vac out the inside of dryer, clean out the lint filter duct and blow out the vent line

Kenmore dryer 90 Series is not heating.

This sounds like it could be the thermal fuse or the heating element. You can check the thermal fuse and heating element for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity would be bad. The fuse is usually located close to the duct. Hope this helps.

Kenmore 90 series electric dryer. Buzzez when you press the start. Sometimes it runs for a couple minutes then shuts off. is this the motor or a start capacitor?

Thermostat controls heat. There is also a motor centrifulgal switch, in the element circuit, that the motor closes to insure the motor is turning. Try another heat setting. There is more than one thermostat. You may have blown the 'thermal fuse' too, which requires replacement.

Tripped high limit. Must clean the lint filter and the exhaust vent tube and all the way in to the dryer. Hot air exit is restricted.

Kenmore Dryer won't heat up

thermal fuse is bad. replace fuse. clean out vent duct. thermal fuse usually blows when there is restricted air flow over heating element.

Kenmore 400 Series electric takes ver long time to dry.

Very common problem. You need to call a
duct cleaning company and tell them to clean
your dryer vent. Rule-of-thumb: dryer vents
should be cleaned every couple of years to
prevent them from being clogged with lint and
causing lint fires. This is definitely your problem. Good luck :)

p.s. one way to verify a clogged vent is
to go outside where the vent exits the house
and feel the air-flow. should have adequate air-flow.

Kenmore Electric Dryer Can't replace heating unit

I removed the deflector and duct from outside the house, disconnected the hose, attached the hose to the dryer, passed the hose through the wall as the dryer went back in, then reattached the hose to the duct/deflector and reinstalled the duct/deflector

heating element is located at the back of the dryer. if you can see a big coil of wires like a long spring laid back and fort to a duct , that is the heating element.
