I bought WBC3 and it worked great on this exact same computer with Vista ultimage 32-bit edition. Now, that I've u/g'd it won't even start.
When I click on the desktop icon it says, Warlords Battlecry III has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. But it doesn't autoreport the problem and says that it has no solution when I manually report it.
The error information is this... (Windows Application Log)

The program (WBC3) will remove fine. I want to make it work, not remove it.

I've tried running it in various compatibility modes with and without administrative privaledges... but, it still won't work...

It worked absolutely wonderful with Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit version... does anyone have this working on thier 64-bit OS???

I've know that there is a version for 64-bit Alpha computers... but, what about Windows Vista???

Thanks for trying... but that wasn't the solution that I was looking for... if you can think of anything else that might help, please let me know...

Windows Vista won't acknowledge that the WBC3 cd is in the D Drive - reads blank.

BLUS, I had the same issue, I ran in compatability mode for XP SP3 and it I can see the sprites, but unfortunately the game will close a few minutes in as I am using a 64 bit OS, as you most likely are too.

Some software won't work with 64bit OS so you need to try to remove it by entering Safe Mode. While booting start pressing the F8 key when you first see Windows coming up to enter Safe Mode. Then go to Ctrl/Panel and try to remove Warlords. Good luck.

Hi Trifon,
you are detecting a known problem for 32 bit operating systems.
The problem for those system is that they can manage maximum 3 Gb of RAM.
If you want all of your RAM used you have to install a 64 bit operating system. Windows 7 has also a version for 64 bit as well as windows xp (but is not good supported) and windows vista.

I can not see any buildings or people when i play warlords battlecry 3 will you please help

To run Warlords BattleCry 3 on windowsicon1.png vista/7 64bit, go to the official games website, download all patches and update to version 1.0.32. After the update, right click the Battlecry III.exe, set compatibility to Windows XP SP3.
For your convenience:

If by some odd chance that your game still will not run properly or at all. You will need to set up a virtual machine, install you game there, then play ^_^ Its not a complicated step, just google iticon1.png for the how-to's on virtual machines. Its not as intimidating as the name suggests.

I hope that helps!

My Ethernet port is damaged an i have bought a USB Ethernet device,I am trying to install the USB Lan to my sony vaio model : VGN-AW-180Y which has windows vista 64 bit in it, and every time i try to run...

you need a driver for vista 64 and I think on the installation disk that came with the device ..there is not any such thing ...look on the manufacturer site and see if they have ...just type the name of the manufacturer and add word support near and make a google search ..it will guide you to the site ...there select the device by name and operating system exact and see drivers availability ..if you do not find it ..you gonna have to install Vista on 32 or windows 7 in the laptop ...there will be no visible changes in 64 and 32 ...
It will work ...I only hope the adapter manufacturer will have a driver on 64 for it ..this will be the happiest case..if not it will bother you a little to save important files ,,and reinstall Vista ..

please do not forget to rate ...Have a great day !

This is an old game. It does not support 64 bit OSs. Even running in compatability mode doesnt help, sorry man, I wasted money on this too. Looks like a good game though.

I cannot install warlords battlecry 3 i am running a windows vista home premium and i meet all the requirements and it says cannot start the warlords battlecry 3 installer

Alternatively (for those of you that this doesn't help) copy the contents of the WBC3 cd to a folder on the desktop then right-click the setup.exe and run as administrator.

Only way it works for me

More ram and vdeo card

it sounds as if your MoBo is seeing the video adapter as a source of ram. if that is the case, then installing memory in units of 1Gb will cause a stick to not be seen, therefore utilized. you may want to refer to you manual for memory limits and poosible comparibility issues. they are usually quite in depth. also, make sure that they are all the same make model and speed. these issues have wreaked havoc on the prettiest of pc's.
