Canon pixma ip4000 color not printing correctly with full inks

Ran out of two or three ink cartridges at once... replaced all... not getting correct color... seemed to be 'missing' red so suspected a faulty magenta cartridge and replaced it... still not printing color correctly

In both cases be sure using correct ink. Use of generic ink can lead to leakage of catrridge seats do to crossion from inferrior ink quality (per Cannon). Be sure ink in proper locations - see manual. Run the maintenance proceedures: cleaning then print nozzle pattern. If all colors are not proper after two or three cleanings, perform deep cleaning. Print nozzle pattern after each cleaning. This should clear up problem. If not, print head may need replacement.

Canon mp830 printing pinkish instead of blue

Hi

You have stick residue in the print head. Just run the print nozzle for 2-3 times to get the correct color.

Also, be sure that all ink cartridges are full because if one of the color is empty, you cannot achieve the correct color when one ink color is missing.

Won't print black

If it's a Canon cartridge, make sure you remove the tape over the vent hole on top, try a couple of deep cleaning cycles, otherwise you need a new printhead, qy6-0049-000 around $40.00

Scanned pictures are printing with different colors

Are the ink cartridges refilled or compatible? They may be defective.
Are they installed correctly (not in the wrong slots)?
** Note that even if they are replaced it will take SEVERAL pages before the quality returns

My printer is a Pixma IP3000 I can't get the yellow ink to print

Take out the cartridge and inspect it... have you removed all the protective tape. reinsert it and make sure it is in correctly (the same as the others)
