Your laptop memory or bridge chips got disconnect pins around there, those chips all be on board, it cause long term running in higher temperature, it should send to specialist hardware repair with BGA.

I checked this model mothboard, there are two ram sticks( no on board ram), you just take out ram sticks and clean their pins, or change two ram sticks each other. still boot need touch ram area, you may see there is a bridge chips near there, might be disconnection from the bridge so finally you need send to do BGA(hardware repair)

Unplug the laptop, remove the battery, remove the memory cover and reseat the memory, reattach everything and see if that solves the problem.

Windows boot failure. press ok to fix boot failure

Pressing [Alt]-[F10] during the boot-up is what your laptop uses to get to the Acer eRecovery Management Utility
However this may not be necessary, although it COULD be a virus, it also could simply be that the boot sector of the hard drive is corrupted/damaged, which can with some OS's be easily fixed, other's, not-so-easy....but still doable.

You've GOT to remember to let people know what Operating System you have to better advise you.

My samsung laptop will not turn on. How do I fix this?

Hi

Possible reasons why your laptop doesn't boot ( Power on with green light indicator lit)

-battery problem
-memory problem
-power failure
-etc ( maybe one of the hardware that is connected inside your laptop)

Troubleshooting steps:

1. First you need to try switching on your laptop without the battery
Basically you will remove the battery of your laptop and connect the ac power then switch it on.

a. If your laptop boot up ( with a green light indicator ) the problem will be the battery.
b. If the laptop does not boot up continue using step 2.

2. Unplug the power adapter , remove the battery and memory
Watch this video and it will help you to remove the memory
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdDf46XKXiE&feature=related
NOTE: Your not going to upgrade your memory!

After removing the memory put it back close the panel and put back the screw.

Now after putting the memory , Try to plug the ac adapter and press the power button and check if your laptop will boot ( No need to put back the battery because your laptop will power up with out the battery )

If your laptop will still have the same problem the best thing to do is to bring it on the nearest support center for Samsung laptop because there's a possibility the problem will be the hardware that is connected inside your laptop.

I want to provide you the complete information on how to open your laptop however since your just new with this and to avoid any damages the best thing that you can do is to bring it on laptop specialist if the troubleshooting steps that I provided will not work.

Be careful Alright! Good luck
Have a nice day

My compaq f700 will cycle on and off before it goes to bios.I can not get windows to load. What could the cause of the problem and what can I do to fix it.

Lots of possibilities here.
  • power
  • memory
  • mother board
Verify that you have enough power. Do you see power when connected to the laptop before you boot?

Try removing the memory and putting it back. Does it boot. Try putting in only one stick of memory. If that does not work, try the other stick.

Try removing the battery, and booting only on the power supply. If the machine boots without the battery, you have a battery problem.

Hopefully, one of these will help you understand your problem.

I get a blank screen and 4 beeps what's the problem?

Hi,
This could happen when the RAM contact is not proper, may be due to dust. Remove the memory modules from DIMM slot, clean it (no moisture please) and reinsert it. This could mostly solve your issue.
Please come back and rate my solution if it turns helpful for you or also if you need more clarifications. Thnx

Aspire 5315, no bootable device, PXE-E61 media test failure,

With any standard laptop (your Aspire included) the default boot disk should be set to drive C:
If the system is not finding drive C:, the boot sector may be damage or the drive may have failed completely.
Depending on your operating system (probably Win XP for this one) you can make a boot disk on a friend's optical drive and change the boot sequence in the BIOS setup to your optical drive. Just make sure the disk you've made is compatible with the drive in your Aspire; such as CD - DVD+-, etc.
Once you can get some kind of prompt, either from a basic Desktop or just E:\ from your boot CD, try typing in "C:" (without the quotes) to see if it is accessible. If not, the drive may be bad.
If the drive is still readable, you have more work to do to restore the damaged boot sector.

2007 DELL XPS M140 LAPTOP WILL LOCK DUE TO 256M MEMORY STICK

Normally you boot up the laptop without a memory stick in the USB port.
Check your BIOS settings for the boot up device order.
You should have the hard drive as the first boot device, you can have the CD as the first boot device and the hard drive as the second boot device.
You should not have the USB port as the first boot device.

Dell Inspiron B130 wont boot

First remove the battery from the PC! Leave it off for a short period of time! about 2min. This allows the computer to erase anything in temporary memory. Place the battery back onto th PC and try to boot it up. The other thing you can do is boot the pc up with just the power cord in place. See if it boots just from the power cord. Sometime the batteries from dell causes the whole entire PC to become unresponsive.
