I have the mini disk for my phone. Now I can't get my pictures in my computer. Even if I put the SD (with the mini disk inside) in my memory card slot, nothing comes up. I have also tried the all-in-1 memory card reader with the adapter and still nothing. Do I have the wrong equipment? I have Windows XP Media Edition 2005.
Can you help an old lady? I'm new at this sort of stuff.

I don't think you lost your pictures. Same thing happened to my phone. I brought it to the HTC Service Center and they upgraded the software. I suggest you take it to the nearest HTC Service Center so the problem can be resolved.
The best way is with an SD/Mini sd memory card. Your phone can accept a 2gig card max. Get a SD reader or a base reader, to USB adaptor, get the SD/mini SD card w/adapter and just copy files from your computer to the mini card and insert that into the phone. Most cells do not allow downloads in the same way as computers do. Yes you can download themes and ring tones but not files like MP3's. Here are pictures of the tools needed to put music on your phone. his is the mini SD with adpt. here is the reader, Hope this Fixya up.Please leave a testimonial if it does. Thank you for using Fixya.
You dont need a disk to transfer your pictures from your phone to your computer, you can either transfer them via usb cord but make sure you save them onto a memory card and that way when you pull in usb cable they will be read Or you can save them into a micro sd card and then put that into sd card adapter and insert that into the computer..Hope that helps.
What model of cell phone do you have? Does it have a mini-usb port? If so, you'll need to use a usb to mini-usb cable. If you have a SD memory card you can put that into a card reader and plug it into the pc, getting your data that way too.
you can either connect with a direct cable or via blue tooth.with the v3 you will need to download drivers for you phone connection. You will know its working when you connect you phone to our pc and it starts charging.Bluetooth will be much easier though...
the device has to format the card. at this time the phone will create folders for music, videos, images, and what not. now when you insert the card into your computer you will open the card and copy the files to the music folder. this will allow access to the files from the handset visual platform. Good Luck and please rate this solution!! :D
If you have a micro SD card that has an adapter for your computer you can plug it into your computer and open it inside an explorer window and drag and drop pictures from your computer folder to your picture folder on the micro SD card. You can definitely do it. I just did it for a friend of mine and it works perfectly. That's why they sell the micro SD cards with the adapters for your computers...so you can transfer things back and forth. Mine is the 8GB Kingston that comes with adapters from micro to mini to regular SD card and to USB port. I bought it from Newegg.com for under $20.
I don't think you need any disks.. If you have a card reader on your pc, take the mini SD out of the phone, and put in card reader on your pc..
If not, your should be able to just connect the usb to the phone, then to the pc.. It should pop up saying new hardware found. From there, you should be able to go into my computer and to the drive of your phone, and view all your files.
