The pull cord on my Comfort Zone CZQTV5M ceiling space heater snapped behind the metal protective grid. How do you get the protective grid off to re-tie the pull cord?

There is one 'release clip' on the outside of each side of the 'mounting bracket'.
Push the two clips inwards & it should release the body of the heater from it's mountings.
After that, I'd expect that you'd be able to unscrew a couple of screws to release the end cap & slide-out the grille which the pullcord passes through.
Best of luck.

We have not used our heater in 6 months. It hasn't been moved. However, now it seems as there is no power going to the unit.

Check the outlet with something that works. Look for a tip-over switch that may need to be reset.

In the Comfort Zone CZ7007 is there a repaceable fuse & if so is it located above the thermostat inside the control panel cover and where can I find another. No heat from unit or lights in switch but

I''m replying almost a year later, but this may help others who are having this problem. There seem to be a lot of problems with the tip over switch in the Comfort Zone radiator heaters (this is the switch at the very top, inside the panel, above the thermostat). I had the same problem- no heat, switches weren't lighting up. I bypassed the tip over switch (we have never tipped over one of our radiator heaters, so it's not an issue) and connected the switch wires with a wire nut and then further secured the wire nut with electrical tape. Now the heater works as it should again.

On & off switch fell off or broke? How can I turn it on if the switch wont fit back in right?

If there are only two wires going to the switch you can unplug the heater and strip about 1/2 inch of insulation off of the wires and twist them together. Use a wire nut or electrical tape to protect connections.
If you can't find the right replacement switch you can use a simple toggle switch in it's place. Or just unplug it when you're done using it. I hope this helps you. Thanks.

Will not work!

Give it a good shake. The tip switch may have tripped. Mine up at the hunting camp will tend to lock up without use. On the coldest night too.
