    Hi there.

I've tried it both ways & just tried to copy & send my Documents Folder over & it wont go. Says:

E:\ is not Accessible. Incorrect Function.

Ive done this before & it worked but, doesnt it figure that my 2 yr Warranty on this just expired before the drives stopped saving what I send them.

That's what I was thinking. I installed Webroot Web Sweeper & Trend Micro Anti~Virus.

As for when it worked last, I couldnt tell you. Been an issue for months.

Normally you would save to a folder on your hard drive, and then copy the files to the CD-R for burning.

You can still copy over updated files usin this method.

See if this fixes your problem.

Try restoring your PC to a date when it last worked, probably corrupt drivers or can also be caused by installing or uninstalling software or your Anti-Virus or Internet Security program

start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore
Click Restore my computer to an earlier dat
Click Next
Choose a sutable date and then on the right click a restore point
Click next
and leave to restore

Tsstcorp dvd+-rw ts-l632h cd/dvd not working. won't recognise any discs when i put them in?? I tried deleting the upper lower filters as i have ssen on other sites, but still no good

Reboot and hit F12 to run Dell Diagnostics on the drive. It does sound like it could be bad.
If it is, you may need to replace it.
These drives have been failing a lot lately, and even the firmware patch is not helping.

Acer 5102 with xp, It wont boot from cd.

Make the DVD your 1st option for booting. It's also your CD drive but is identified as the DVD RW. Once this is made your default (make sure you accept and save the change before exiting) with your installation disk in the drive, boot up and it will read off the disk and prepare your system for install. If your disk is bootable, this will work.

My Philips DVD R/RW Drivde DVD8631/96(manufactured 2005)has died

Honestly, head over to a local computer shop and grab yourself a new OEM DVD RW. It should cost you somewhere in the range of $30. Don't go somewhere like BestBuy, as you will get charged obscene prices.

Make sure it has the right connectors, as many DVD drives are SATA these days. If you're not sure which you have, just bring it with you, and the staff should help you select the correct type.
