Question about Whirlpool Gold 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher Dishwasher
I have a whirlpool GU 180 dishwasher. The drainage hose (a gray plastichose) has a hole in it, near to where it enters into the dishwasher. Sowhen the dishwasher is draining, water leaks out everywhere.
What do I do to fix this?
I need to replace the hose; but I see it goes inside the dishwasher -replacing this hose means (I guess) I need to disassemble the dishwasher. Andeven then, I don't know how this hose attaches to the internal plumbinginside the dishwasher.
Are there any instructions on what I need to do, and how to do it? Idon't want to take a trial-and-error approach here, of trying to guesshow to take it apart and how to fix it.
(Ordinarily I'd call the service guy, but right now I can't afford it,and this thing has been fixed and re-fixed so many times by him already...)
Just follow the hose to the other end, it goes under the dishwasher and it usually just clamped to the drain pump. Should be able to buy a replacement hose at repair clinic dot com. Installation is the reverse of removal, just pay attention to how the hose is routed, they need to be reinstalled the same way. Hope this helps.

Welcome to FixYa
hold the AIR DRY/RINSE ONLY button to reset the control, if you have already
tried this and it is possible that the door was opened while in cycle then the
first thing that should be checked is the door switch/lock assembly. You can
take a hair dryer and try to blow air on that, if the problem returns then
replacing the door switch/lock assembly is recommended repair. Please get back
to me if you have any other questions.
