Question about Canon PIXMA iP2200 InkJet Photo Printer

Canon ip2200 paper jam error- no paper and 3 amber 1 green flash

My printer tried to take a huge wad of paper through (probably my fault that I put too much in) and I panicked and pulled it out a bit too rigorously. Now the printer is continually flashing 3 amber and 1 green. I have tried to turn in off, install the driver again and nothing is working. There is definitely no paper in the printer. I had just refilled the cartridges with one of those DIY kits so I'm worried that it has to do with that. But when I was looking in the feeder bit one of the little plastic bits attached to springs (I assumer it feeds the paper through) looked like it wasn't in the right position. I have been trying to fix the problem for hours so any help would be much appreciated.

Printer will not print in black was the first problem and now after less than a minute after turning on it has the light for 'on' flashing green and amber constantly

Try this:
1- Pull the cartridges out, restart printer then reinstall the cartridges again
2- The blinking can mean any of these: paper out, paper jam, cover open, printing error. Please check that there is enough paper, no paper jam (sometimes even the smallest piece of paper will cause that error, then restart both (the printer and the computer)
Best of luck

1- Please open the cover and inspect the inside of the printer carefully. There might be a little piece of paper or a tiny object jammed in there and is causing this error message. Also get some canned air and clean the inside of the printer. 2- Restart the printer.

3 blinks is a paper jam error, it's saying that there could be a paper scrap or something still inside your printer.

Canon ip1300. Three orange flashes, one green.

Hi emdos,
Did you mean blinking three times in Orange?. Well, the problem is paper jam error occurs in your printer. First, check if any broken paper inside printer. If it so, remove broken paper. If problem still persist, it seems that drive assy broken or paper feed sensor fault. Find more useful article about this below.
