Question about Jandy Lite2 LG400 Ceramic Compact Heater
When the Jandy 2 lite pool heater is not used for an extended period of time, I have a tremendous flameout from the unit. The unit is not used for a 2 or 3 month period(winter months). I turn it on after this period of time and the unit ignites like it should. However, there is a flameout and it is actually very scary. Today, it knocked the front cover off where actually observed the flameout(blue flame). Please tell me what the issue may be.
I suspect that dust or debris of some type accumulates inside of the heater during months of nonuse. Store the unit in a box or a plastic bag and see if this solves the problem. good luck with it.
