SOURCE: how to unlock polaroid FLM

Hi,

In Child Lock On mode, the buttons on the TV do not work. A prompt "Panel buttons are being locked" will be displayed. However, the remote control buttons will still function. When the TV is on and the Child Lock is on, a prompt "Locked, power off after 6s" will appear. Use the remote
control to control the TV.
Otherwise, the TV will automatically enter into Standby mode.
For program lock Input the default password of 1235.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have cello TV and now no channels . have tried factory reset and still shows message as Database empty. What can you suggest?

To Get free broadcasts you will need to 1) have an antenna and 2) run the Channel Scan or Auto-TUne program. Any antenna will work - Rabbit ears etc. Once connected you need to go to setup and run the channel scan - it will find the digital channels in your area and load them into the database. You can get an antenna at Radio Shack, Meijer, Kmart etc. any place they sell TV's. Like I said even the old Rabbit Ear antennas work fine for Digital TV.

Add channel to TV that I deleted (using rabbit ears w/ newish digital TV)

Confirm with another set if signal for that channel is still there or not--also if not too large a set take it to someone who gets the channel and add that channel back into the memory with the remote.

Hello, I bought an ONN TV #LE-22G90 a few months ago and I can't receive any digital channels. My time zone is: Eastern time (I live near Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada). The tuner mode is: Antenna. I...

I bought the same TV wich is in fact a Seiki TV, see the warranty paper. The television has digital and analog tuners so is able to receive digital channels. Our television receive signal thru a rabbit ear antenna and we had some trouble to scan all the digital channels. We had to change the orientation of the antenna to receive correctly the signals and we had to scan many times. We finally conected the TV to a roof antenna so we where able to scan all the channels of Montreal, north Vermont and north New York areas since we are living in the south shore in front of Montreal. After the scan was completed we conected back the TV to the rabbit ear antenna and the television is working correctly receiving all the stations of Montreal area with a very good picture quality.

Can I use a regular antenna

Yes. You can use a regular antenna for any flat panel HD TV. You're only limitation the type of antenna and whether or not your flat panel TV has a built in digital tuner. If it does, you'll be able to scan for digital channels without any additional components, including the High Def ones,  though you may not get every channel available with a set of rabbit ears. A roof top antenna will give you a stronger signal and more channels. If your TV does NOT have a built in digital tuner, you'll have to purchase a digital converter box and attach your antenna to it to receive the digital and HD channels. Good luck.

Toshiba Tv - Does it have a digital tuner?

That unit has a NTSC tuner. May be HD Ready but it does not have a digital tuner. Unless you live quiet close to a local Broadcaster, rabbit ears would be useless.
The only way you would be able to get HD is using a HD Set Top Box, HD Satellite System,
or HD Cable BOX, using the Componet or HDMI inputs.
Hope this helps

Do I need a Set Top Box Converter?

Yes you can continue to use Rabbit ears if you are close enough to the station. Most digital stations are operationg at reduced power. Switch it to digital and let it scan for channels, you may be plesantly surprized at what it finds.
