No suction-all lines and filter are clear

If the motor runs, check the following:
Remove the beater brush and clean as best you can. At either end of the brush is a plastic holder that positions the brush in the vacuum body. Add some WD40 to the space between the plastic and the beater brush and turn by hand to be sure they move freely. As long as you have the beater brush out of the vacuum, replace the drive belt.

I won't pick up dog hair. It seems to have plenty of suction when I detach the hose.

The reason it won't pick up is because the belt is worn. If the belt is stretched or worn it won't pick up well. Here is the belt you need for this model:

Beater bar does not work

You will most likely either need to replace the belt, or remove roller and clean hair out of the ends to let it spin freely

How can i keep the belt onmy sharp vacuum

If you have a rug that has tassles or open bits of "carpet tassles," this will injur ANY upright vacuum cleaner. Best way to vacuum a rug is to use a hose with a suction only floor head or small tool on the end.

Vacume wont **** opened it up see nothing wrong HELP

If no suction usuallly means a clog, either in the hose and the dirt inlet by the brush roll. Sometimes if the belt is stretched, it won't turn the brush roll under load and it would seem like there is no suction.

Sharp upright vacuum EC-12SXT5

The inlet by the brush roll may be clogged. Alot of times the hose may be clear, but the inlet catches debris and clogs it. Did you drop something down the hose and did it dome out the other side? But if you unhook the hose and there is suction at the hose end, then it should be clogged in the inlet.

No suction on the EC-T5980

Check the inlet by the brush roll, it may be clogged.
