If you forgot Windows password,
you can create a Windows password reset bootable CD/DVD or USB flash
drive to reset your lost or forgotten Windows password, i have created a
bootable CD with the tool Windows Password Breaker and reset my administrator password successfully.
First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeatedly as the computer starts up.
Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes, of course)
You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.
Just click the administrators user account (or the target user's account), and then click Reset Password. You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.
If it askes for a password try the password\
and then press enter If this does not help try f8 safe mode
if that fails get the operating system CD or the recovery CD that belong with the macking.
After theis by a backup and hid it from everyone that wants to use it/...
As soon as u start the Laptop, start hitting F8 Key Cont. it will take u Safe Mode, click on safe mode, may be cud find another user account, Go to Start - Control Panel - User Account - Select ur User Account and Remove the Password.
& if incase u dont have any other User Account, then u will have to contact ur Manufacturer or u will have to Restore ur computer to Factory Settings.

Try logging in with your own username and password. If not try 'Administrator" and leave the password blank. If that doesnt work and you dont know any other usernames or passwords you'll need to bring the laptop to a repair centre and have them use a special disk to access the administrator password. Every copy of Windows origonally has an Administrator account, if you dont know its details then you need to get the password reset.
If you restart the computer and press F8 while the computer is booting up you can go into safe mode, and use the administrative logon (if it is not password protected) and then go into the user accounts in the control panel and reset or remove your password for your account, and if you did not have a password on your administrator account Please!!!! SET ONE that is an open door for viruses and spyware...
If it's a Windows password, then enter safe mode at start up by pressing F8, log in as administrator, from here you can clear any user passwords from the user accounts section. If this is a bios password you will need to contact Dell support directly for the master code to unlock the board.
