Question about RCA D52W20 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

I Have a RCA D52W20.When turned on the green light won't come on

It's just lke there is no power at all.I checked all board capasitor and none were swolen.As a matter of fact the inside of the tv seems new.
I was wondering if this could be the mainboard.

CK SSB board its the one with tuner on it next to turner there is one on each side a fuse little brown rectrangler part they are fuses if one is open set will not come on.Deflection boards are also known for poor connections on FBT pinns.

Green light comes on for 5 seconds the drops off repeats 3 times then nothing happens,tv won't turn on.


Replace any swollen capacitors on the deflection board. If none found replace the board. It may no longer be available. Pull the board and send to PTS Electronics in Bloomington IN to be rebuilt.

I have a RCA model# D52W20. The TV will not power up.


ON the deflection board ck capacitors 114,130,150 if 150 is puffed up on top it is bad 2200uf 16v use 25v and the other 2 are 220uf 35v replace all 3 of them and resolder around all pinns on FBT flyback transfomer.

Green lamp goes out within minutes of turning on tv


Check CRT board the Video IC on it can be bad so you do not have to replace Tube be Very carefull when you remove CRT board from Neck of Green Tube so you do not Breck it. Check all 3 tubes make sure none of them are leaking out coolent fluid.

Check 3 capacitors on Power supply/deflection board cp150 2200uf 16v if it is bad replace 2 other caps in same circuit cp111 cp114 220uf 35v
