Can the other person see and hear you? If so you need to adjust volume and select video on your device when connected in a call. If not, you need to set up your chat app from scratch.

The other person you are chatting with needs to open their video at their end. If you can see yourself but cannot see who you are chatting with, try letting them call you using the "Video Call" option in the chat box.
If you are in a private chat, the only person you will hear is the person in the chat with you. You will not hear anyone else and nobody else will hear you.
ok i would go on aim6 and press video..my other partner has one to i can see me in a little box in the left then the rest of the box i can see him. he cant see me for some reason why? and also it closes after a couple of seconds
