Question about Toshiba Tecra 8000 Notebook
I have just been given a Toshiba tecra 8000 whose battery wiill not charge up. However it keeps switching itself off, usually before windows has fully booted, even though it is plugged into its charger--which does work. Do you think I'd be wasting money buying a new battery. I would have thought that the laptop should work, even with a duff battery, if it is plugged into its charger. Does anyone know if it is possible to bypass the battery and run it permanently on its charger?
