I have an 11 year old Whirlpool ultimate care II Model LSQ7533JQQ1 that works fine with a light or medium load, but not a heavy load. The water is gone but the clothes are too wet. Any help as to what needs to be fixedis appreciated!

Possible that there are issues with the drive assembly , check the belt if this is belt driven. Also a failure of the bearings can result in friction which can add up to the motor load to cut off with a heavy load.
Click on Bearings
Finally check the drain pump, check the level of the machine for full drain..

SOURCE: whirlpool ultimate care II stops after filling

Hi, could be faulty timer, faulty water level switch, faulty start capacitor for motor, or faulty motor. always put clothes in machine before starting. you can empty machine by lowering drain hose to flow level.

SOURCE: Drum won't spin - especially when full of clothes.

Does it spin without anything in it?

Does it agitate?

Does it pump out the water?

If you said Yes to all of these Im sorry to say this you probably burnt out the clutch.

If it doesnt agitate maybe you will be lucky and you only need a coupler.

If you over load it often and wash large items you probably burnt out the clutch. This is an expense repair. You may want to consider a new washer.

I have a Whirlpool ZUltimate Care II Washer, Model 3XLSQ7533JQ2. Washer keeps filling in the medium and the super wash level and will not go into the agitation cycle. Works on small load level only.

Hello,

SInce the washer works ok on the small load size yet overflows on all others the problem is going to be with the water level switch and it should be replaced to remedy that problem.

The part number for that water level switch is W10339229 it could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at

I can't find the model number on washer Whirlpool Ultimate Care

Model # and info is under the lid. Open lid and look directly under it - area facing you. You should see a small silver tag with all the factory info on it. My washer is also 9 years old.
