Are you wanting to do this because of your plugs at your house? If so, just go to Radio Shack or Home Depot and buy a adapter, a lot safer then doing the switch

  1. Remove safety plate (usually attached only by 1 or 2 screws)
  2. Remove old cord and restraint with a hand or cordless drill.
  3. The restraint is the collar that fits tightly around the cord to hold it firm to the dryer.
  4. Connect the center wire of the 10/3 cord to the center silver terminal. Turn screw in firmly but not too tight.
  5. Now you have two wires remaining which are attached on either of the two terminals beside the silver terminal. It does not matter which wire goes on which terminal, as both wires are hot. Screw in firmly.
  6. From the outside of the dryer, you need to slide the tab end of one of the collar halves into the 10/3 cord wire hole. Do the same with the other half of the collar, easily draw the two halves together to tighten against the cord .

According to the National Electric Code, you will need to install a grounding strap from the frame to neutral in a 4- to 3-wire conversion.

Or all blower motors on electric kenmore 80 series 220 or 110 current

Speaking of these United States, here's how that goes.
In this country, dryers are called 220, but they are really 110 twice!
So, on the back of the dryer is a plug with 3 or 4 prongs.
( hope you can get this from my description. )
On a 3 prong plug, the two "slanted" prongs are each hooked to 110 volt p service.
The "L" shaped prong is a ground.

If you have a 4 pronged plug, the two flat straight prongs are 110 volt each, and the "L" shaped and the round prong are both grounded.

FYI: Each of the 110 volt wires has a different function. One powers the motor, the other the heating element.
Be Blessed.

I would like to change the electrical plug on my dryer

The outlet or the cord? You can purchase 3 or 4 prong cords at any Home improvement store. There is usually an extra screw at the terminal block for just that.
