On a DS emulator its just like a DS, with 2 screens. the thing is, my bottom one isnt working. nothing shows up. the arrow to click next doesnt, and neither do the options i get to pick show up. theres like stuff abotu profiles but its compeltely empty how do i fix that, or is it part of the game?

f you dont have a microphone just use windows movie maker open the windows movie maker click tools > narrate timeline or just click the microphone icon below then click show more options and change your audio input source into a mono mix or stereo mix

4. Select "GBA Mode" (pink button on the right)
5. Select "Touch screen"
This is mainly affective for GBA games, not DS games unfortunately. If you are really that desperate to play DS games properly, then either hope you can still claim it on warranty and/or buy a brand new DS (maybe even the new DSi).
Try changing the backup of NDS to FLASH512kbps...it's in the emulation
