Check your Ground wires for the Wiring Harness. If they are not Grounded Good Enough, You will get a Power Light But nothing else in this Case. If you think that the Ground is good But you still have the Problem. Connect a Cable Directly from the - Terminal on the Battery and Try it this way. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Trick to reset pb1217x when protect light comes on?

if the amp is shutting down and the protect light is coming on you just have to let it cool down because it is getting to hot, sounds like you are pulling to many OHMS for the amp. if you are running your speakers bridged you can try running them unbridged (parallel) and that will drop the OHMS letting it run cooler. or you might have to try a different speaker/amp combination speakers might be to many ohms for the amp.

Power to amp no sound

Test your subs on another amp....If they are fine then try running different rcas in your car from the stereo to see if they are the culprit. If still no sound probably your output on your amp is gone.

Bypass the amp with a small speaker or tweeter to make sure your rca input is working. Is the amp light on. Got good power, ground, and remote? Have you tried a different set of speakers on your amp?

A4004T AUDIOBAHN HEARTBEAT FROM AMP WITH BLINKING POWER LIGHT BUT NO PROTECTION LIGHT. UNPLUG SPEAKERS NO PROBLEMS. TRIED NEW WIRES, NEWER BIGGER GROUND. SUPPLIED WITH 40AMP FUSE NEAR BATTERY AND 2 20AMP...

If you disconnet you speakers and there is no problem, Then it's your speakers.
1. try your speaker wire in one port at a time (may have blown one of the outputs)
2. Check the speaker connections directly on your speakers (not loose or damaged)
3. try a different speaker all together and see if you get sound etc.
4. try a different wire from your speakers to your amp (wire may have shorted out or have breaks)

Hope this helps and please rate. If you require further info please comment and I'll get back to you asap

I have a Legacy Predator 2000 watt amp with 2 12'' Kicker speakers. It has been in my car for about a year now, and it recently just stopped working. I have the green light to the amp, im not sure about...

If you have checked your ground, live, remote and RCA's, The problem may lie with your kicker speakers.
There may be a loose wire connection on the speaker terminals (hense no sound).
Check the terminals at the speaker (+) and (-) then check the speaker wires to your amp inputs.
Usually if there is a fault with any wires linked to your amp, the amp goes into protect mode.
If your amp is not going into protect mode, try linking a different speaker to each terminal on your amp (left) then (right). If you get sound through a different speaker, more than likey your speaker wire to your kickers has came loose (due to vibrations) or there is a break in your speaker wire.

Hope this helps. If any more info is needed I'd be happy to help more. Please rate if helpful

Ok so ive had this amp for about a year now and for some reason i was driving down the road and all of a sudden my sub and amp **** out. i checked all the connects, and everything is running all the lights...

I find that most Amps that does this the transistors nearest the to the B+ side of the Amp is bad. there are anywhere from 4 to 6 a side and if you know anything of these you can check them remove and replace them. I have a different problem. the prower light comes on and the goes off and I am trying to find a schematic to trace down the problem. if I find it I can talk U through it and show pics.

My amp does not work

Did you check to see if its grounded well? Try grounding the amp to the battery, also check fuses. I'm not sure how you hooked it up, but I usually connect the amps directly to the battery with a heavy duty fuse. Also try the remote wire, from your cd player to the amp. Thar are usually 2 different remote wires make shure thair hooked up right, if thats all good and the amp power light isnt on then it sounds like your amp is bad.....

My 12v touched my ground last night and big spark happened

hello sound to me you may have burnt the main power wire to the body or other metal on the car ..
if i was you i would first check the fused if there not popped trace the wire from the battery to the amp see if you can find a burnt spot on the wire it should have a burnt spot on the ajasent part of the car.. untell you find that wire it will drain your battery "try to disconnect the amp wire from the battery recharge or jump start your car run your car for 20 mins" that should fix your car... www.tonytkokelly@yahoo.com if you have questions
