Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Volume dial not working

The volume dial on my Logitech Z-5500 speakers stopped working. I have volume, but it is too low, and when I twirl the dial, nothing happens (no indication on the screen that volume is changing, no change in sound). I have an optical connection to an Apple G5. These speakers have been working for five years.

I would recommend you ask logitech if they can fix it, if the cost is too high i would go look for other stores that fix speakers, if it still cant be fixed, your better off buying new ones because having speakers like those for 5 years is a long time, it may just be time to change

There are 2 volume controls on the audio output in windows 7. one is the system volume the other is the device volume. make sure that they are both at full and then control the sound volume on your speakers.

My logitech speakers mo.ls11 sound is blurred when volume is increased

Adjust the volume level of the TV to low while the Logitech Speaker volume is at the middle... try changing volume of both TV and speaker to achieve satisfying results.

Output port for left speaker Z2300

I've been having the same problem actually.

In my situation, turning the volume up and down using the speaker volume control will fix the problem. I only have the faint volume problem at some positions of the dial. turning it up usually fixes it. I'm thinking that opening it up and cleaning it might fix the problem (it used to work with an older set of Creative speakers i had).

If that doesnt work im going to try to get a new remote from logitech.

Popping Audio

You may have blown the speaker and need to replace it. Try at a low volume and then at high to notice any difference, if the popping occurs only at higher volume then it needs replacing. I hope this helps

Logitech x530 hissing noise

I had the same problem for the longest time with my set of Logitech 540 5.1 speakers. Turns out the solution was pretty simple. All I did was open the Master Volume controller and mute the Microphone. Hissing went to zero. Sound is great now.

Only getting half the volume

The first things I would check would be the volume control within your operating system. If I assume you have Windows XP, you would go to Start-->All Program-->Accessories-->Entertainment and click "Volume Control". Make sure all of the sliders are at least 1/2 way up. You might also want to check to make sure the cable from the speakers to the computer is plugged into the proper jack (usually the green one), as sometimes computers have jacks for rear speakers, which might make them sound quieter.

Im looking for a part for my z-5500

www.curryspartmaster.co.uk You should be able to find what you are looking for here or alternatively go to logitech themselves http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/change_location/&cl=gb,en&returnurl=support_downloads You could also try e-bay for the part as you are bound to find it much cheaper Still having problems just let me know.
