To be brutally honest your next step should be to take it to the nearest tip and then go and buy a decent machine. Green light flashing - icon_wink.gif

On a more practical note, the PCB is also a common cause of heater failure, two different modules for this model, neither of them over expensive.

PCB for your machine is a C00143206, an e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for price etc if you wish to take a chance on that being the cause.

The PCB is in the door underneath the push buttons, not possible to test but visual examination may reveal burnt contacts or solder joint failure.

light 4 flashing is a heater timeout. As you say difficult for me to do anything other than speculate. The heater itself followed by the PCB are the most common causes of this fault. It could also be a wiring break or a safety stat fault.

Its your call on this one really, thankfully the PCB is not the most expensive, around £27.00 + vat

Put some towels dowm and tip the dishwasher over to one side about 45 degrees, if water pours out of the base it means that the dishwasher is in "flood mode" and you have a leak into the base that will need resolving.

    Thanks

Check if there is ice formation on the coils at the back.

Try first leaving the fridge unplugged overnight to defrost completely

Hi
common fault on this appliance is an open heater. Unplug appliance, tip it on it's side, remove base plate and meter it.

DWF 415 Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher has constant green blinking light. Drain pump works ok (as it will pump out a jug of water if I tip it into it!) but no water comes in. Cycle stops about 30 seconds after...

Anyone got an answer to this, as I have exactly the same fault.

Dishwasher appears to switch on OK, then after a short time (20 secs?) the pump noise stops and the green light flashes - it seems to e a sequence of 7 flashes, then stop... 7 flashed then stop.

The sequence could indicate a fault detected?

Anyone know anything about these units from IKEA, made by Whirlpool?

Thanks!

Green start button won't stop blinking

START/RESET status indicator light flashing

You have pressed the indicator light flashing START/RESET pad while the START/RESET dishwasher is running. This will cancel the cycle. The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains (about 90 seconds).

Press the pad once to start the dishwasher. Press the pad a second time when the dishwasher is running only if you wish to cancel the cycle.

Power to the dishwasher was turned off while a cycle was running and power has just been restored to the dishwasher. The blinking lights indicate that the dishwasher is draining the potential water inside.

The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains. A new cycle will start automatically.

Good luck

Green light flashing

hello to all
i am in naples italy and just fixed my machine.
idl 600 second and forth light blinking after fill up and then it drains the water out.
this is a clogged filter alarm but if the filter is not clogged its the heating element bad.
the element has a thermostat that heats the water to about 90 degrees c.
in my case the element was burned open and checking this with a ohm meter it showed no resistance.
normally it should be about 100 ohms.
the mother board were the lights are does a check on all systems and if anything fails in this case the heater element then it goes into alarm and pumps out the water.
total cost here near naples italy was 28 euro for the heating element and i replaced it my self.
feel free to e-mail me if this is allowed at ralphcarlmagno@yahoo.com
hope this helps a lot of friends
