It sounds like your digital camera is accidentally formatted. Don't worry! As long as you've saved any new photo on this camera memory card, you do have chances to get your original ones back completely.
Firstly, stop using this camera immediately in case that anything new would rewrite your wanted files and make them gone permanently.
Secondly, plunge this camera to your computer and prepare to retrieve all your deleted files.
Thirdly, apply a camera data recovery freeware to retrieve all your deleted files back successfully:

I believe this data recovery can work perfectly on your camera memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his phone memory card.
Fourthly, save and back up all the restored files on a different camera memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two memory cards or locations in the future.
Good luck!

So, you hint "delete all" option on the camera? If so, don't worry!
Deleting won't make the pictures on a digital camera erase permanently. Those deleted pictures are still stored on the memory card of your camera, they're just invisible or inaccessible. You can recover them with photo recovery software. But once the deleted pictures were overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.
Here I recommend you these software that helped me out:
Mac Photo Recovery Software
Windows Photo Recovery Software

All cameras have a FORMAT option which deletes everything on the card.
You can usualy recover the lost images with a special software. you can look up "image recovery" in google.
If you don't want to mess around with it, go to a digital photo shop, they can do it for you, for a price.
Note that if you use the card (IE take pictures) before you recover the images, you will lose some or even all of them without the possibility to recover them!

PLEASE HELP! I bought an Olympus SP800UZ camera recently on my trip to the USA. At the end of my holiday in Mexico, i turned it on like normal and there was a problem; it constantly takes photos. It was...

I would direct you to Olympus to help you with this problem. They have repair centers in Australia and your camera should still be under warranty.

http://www.olympus.com.au/Support/Repairs---Warranty/Repair-Centres.aspx

However, I would first email or call them and tell them your problem over the phone and they may be able to help you.

http://www.olympus.com.au/Support/Contact-Us/Customer-Support.aspx

I also have 2 other suggestions that you could try yourself.

- Make sure the olympus software that came with your camera is installed onto your computer.
1. Install the software. 2. Plug one end of the camera cord into the computer. 3. Restart your computer. 4. Start up the software. 5. With your camera turned off, plug the other end of the cord into the camera. 6. Turn the camera ON.

- Purchase a air duster can and try gently spraying all the buttons on your camera to see if it dislodges anything. Its possible a speck of sand is causing a problem somewhere. Sand is a camera's enemy!

See if that works. I really hope you find a solution to your problem!

Good luck!

I had taken pictures at my son's 16th bd party. I had looked at them on the camera throughout the night. I took a picture and tried to look at it and the camera said file error. None of the pictures...

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 cant upload photos!!

Did your friend use the "safely remove hardware" function when removing your card from her computer? That could corrupt your card if she didn't. Try this...take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk. They can usually read everything on a card. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Afterwards, format your card in your camera.

Have lost all my photos from my samsung digimax v800 camera card

I have had success with this... Download the photo recovery program
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
