To perform a hard reset, use the stylus while pressing into the reset hole, press the power on/off button at the same time. Screen will prompt you to press the Green call and Red end call button together to confirm on hard resetting the device. Hard resetting the device will cause the device to be reset back to its original factory default settings and all data will be lost.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

When I turn my cubot phone on, it comes on , but thAts it, won't do anything, and hasn't been damaged at all. What do I do?

Try phone reset
Power off the phone, hold the volume down key and press down the power button simultaneously for about 15 seconds. The phone will power up and shows an exclamatory mark. Then release the button. Press the volume down key, it will display the menu. Choose the menu by press the volume down key. Choose "wipe data/factory reset", press power key to enter in, then choose "delete all user data", press power key to confirm. Wait until it indicates "data wipe complete". Then choose "wipe cache partition", confirm with power key. Wait for a few seconds, the screen will shows "cache wipe complete". And at the last, choose "reboot system now", confirm with power key, then the phone will reboot.

Wipe my data partition

you need to boot into recovery mode to wipe the data partition. Doing this will reset the phone's data partition. Doing this will delete all data off the device and return it to the same state it was in when you first powered it on.

  1. completely power off the phone
  2. press and hold the power, volume up, and home buttons until you see the Samsung logo
  3. use volume up/down to scroll and power to select
  4. scroll to and select wipe data/factory reset
  5. select yes on any following prompts
  6. reboot device
If the above process does not work on your device, see alternate methods to boot into recovery mode in the following link.

My lg viper 4g lte wont boot completely

if you wont mind losing your data that are not backup... you can simply perform a hard reset to factory settings. 1. remove the battery 2. re-instert the battery 3. hold VolumeDown button then press the power button Do not release the volumedown key til u get to recovery mode Now that you are in recovery mode, first try WIPING CACHE and then reboot your phone. if the problem persist, then repeat step1-3 again this time, select WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET if wiping cache solves it, then your data are intact WIPING DATA FACTORY RESET wil return ur phone to new without losing any unlocking feautures. i'm McKennie

Forgot pin number

Here are some simple steps in doing a factory reset. This will completely wipe the phones data and information.
  1. Power off the phone (you might have to remove the battery)
  2. Hold down the volume down button+the power button until the phone boots into BIOS (It will look like a picture of the Android w/text over it)
  3. Navigate the menus to Wipe data/factory by using the volume up/down keys and select with the power/sleep button
  4. Navigate to Yes and select it once again
The phone should do the rest from this point on. Let me know if I need to clarify or you need more help! I'd be more than happy to help.

How to put music on the hone

You didn't mention the brand or the model of your phone. If it has a USB port you can transfer the music file from a computer to your phone via a data cable using the PC Suite. You can also take out your memory card, put it in a card reader, connect it to a computer and transfer the music files to your phone, Another way to put music files to your phone is through a Bluetooth connection with another phone, but this is slow and time consuming.

I have a blackberry 7230 that is locked...... I'm trying to get my hone unlocked so i can make regular phone calls vs. only emergency calls only

the phone probably has a password on it if you bought it on ebay then email the persson who sold it to you. If you have not got the email then try wiping the data base (I was thinking by errors in something else...or....a magnet?) if you cant do any of them then your a bit stuffed.
