Flashing LEDs All indiactor lights on the control panel are flashing and no response to the keypad. Unresponsive to keypad, random LED's flashing, unplugged dishwasher repeatedly, sometimes random flashing returned, now just "normal wash" flashing, tried suggestion of pushing "off" after reconnecting power, no change in problem yet.

- If the cause is a "dead not working" dishwasher, ensure that the wiring is properly located and attached to the PCB assembly. Check the door switches, check the main wire harness coming into the d/w. On some assemblies a jumper wire with dual terminal on one end is used. When attaching the wire from the main harness to the dual terminal, the possibility of a loose connection may occur causing improper voltage to the PCB. If the PCB board has a burnt trace on the back of the PCB, A shorted triac on the PC board may be the cause. The motor start winding may have been damaged, which should be checked at the same time.
- If the complaint is "All lights are flashing", interrupt power to the dishwasher for 1 minute, then re-apply power. If the lights are not flashing, may not be a PCB problem.

- If the "Clean & Option" keypads appear not to be working, but the "Auto clean" keypad does, disconnect the wiring at the turbidity sensor. If a cycle and any option can now be entered, replace the turbidity sensor.

- If the "Clean & Keypad 7 LED" are flashing, this is the code for an incorrect "Memory Software Check". Interrupt power to the dishwasher for 1 minute, then re-apply power. If the lights are not flashing, the PCB may not be your problem.

I have dim spots in my VIZIO M801d-A3 80" LED TV, and am wondering which part has failed so I can look into repairing the unit.

There is a backlight panel of leds that are responsible for lighting up the screen. If any of the leds or sections go bad that will be responsible for what you are seeing. See if it is economical to replace the back lights themselves.

Or, you may have a hassle with the inverter board that powers the leds.

Whirlpool quiet partners II normal light flashing

A rapidly blinking LED over one of the keys of the keypad (or sometimes a "dead" keypad/console)
To determine if the control or keypad is faulty, do the following test:
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Open the dishwasher door.
3. Open console and disconnect the keypad ribbon connection from the control (at P1).
Make sure all other connections are made.
4. Put console back together. Do not close the dishwasher door.
5. Plug in dishwasher or reconnect power.
6. Wait 5 seconds.
7. Close dishwasher door.
8. Monitor the control's response:
If the control is OK (no longer sees shorts with the keypad unplugged),
it will respond by turning on a Drain Motor for 2 minutes.
Check and/or replace the keypad if the control responds OK.
If the control is not OK (still sees shorts with the keypad unplugged),
then the drain motor will NOT respond and will remain off.
If no response, replace the control.

I have a 1998 Plymouth voyager and the climate control lights are flashing. I ran a test i found on the internet and got it down to two lights flashing(the ac and the recirculate). I got it to where the...

OK got your message on the other post (About the van) I am assuming that your Voyager is equipped with Automatic Climate Control. Follow the instructions below and you will get a better idea of what is wrong with your system.

1. To enter calibration/diagnostics test, set parking brake. Start and warm engine to normal operating temperature. With engine idling, turn blower switch to high. Turn mode switch to panel. Open all outlets. Move temperature to full cold.
2. Press and hold rear wash and rear wiper buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds (Until ALL LEDs illuminate). All LEDs should illuminate for 5 seconds. Rear wiper and intermittent rear wiper button LEDs will flash alternately during calibration/diagnostics test.
3. After approximately 60 seconds, if only the rear wiper button LED is flashing, calibration is successful and the system is okay. If rear wiper and intermittent rear wiper button LEDs are flashing, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present. (See "Reading Diagnostic Codes" below)
4. To exit calibration/diagnostics test at any time, press the rear window defogger button, rear wiper button, or cycle the ignition off and then on. Test will automatically terminate 15 minutes after calibration/diagnostics is entered.

Reading Diagnostic Codes
1. Perform calibration/diagnostics test. If a DTC is present after calibration/diagnostics test has been performed, system will flash rear wiper and intermittent rear wiper button LEDs in sequence. Rear wiper represents code level, and intermittent rear wiper button LED represents code value.
2. Each time the rear wash button is depressed, rear wiper button LED wil cycle to the next code level in numeric sequence. After code level 5 is reached, rear wiper button LED will cycle back to code level 1. See table below.

My remotes will only work when the garage door opener unit lights are off. what is causing this problem?

On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will see a small LED. Check this LED when the lights are on to see if it is flashing. If it is flashing rapidly you have some type of interference. Random flashing is normal. While this LED is flashing remove the bulbs and see if it stops. While you have the light bulbs out unplug the opener and use a small screwdriver to pull out on the center contacts of the light socket. Can't think of any other reason why the lights would cause the opener to not work.

Cancel Light Flashing on Kitchen Aid Dishwasher

I ran into this same problem. Cutting the power didnt reset it.

After power reset, mine had the normal led blinking. If I pressed cancel, then the cancel and china button leds would start blinking too.

I pulled out the trouble shooting guide (from behind the baseboard kick panel under the dishwasher door). It that if the dishwasher wont run and button LEDs are blinking there is a short circuit in the keypad. It gave a keypad diagnostic sequence which I followed. (disconnect keypad and try to initiate the diagnostic cycle without the keypad by disconecting the yellow leads to OWI sensor twice in less than 6 seconds.

I could hear the diagnostic cycle start, so the problem is a bad keypad. Will order a new one tomorrow and let you know if it works.

Sony PVW-2600 Flashing lights on control panel

If this control panel has the hard brown plastic LED holders, that could be the problem. They can absorb moisture from the atmosphere, corrode the LED leads, and deposit a conductive goop (that's a technical term) on the PCB, screwing up the lamp logic. Replace all the holders- Sony only sells a new, improved version- and any LEDs with corroded leads. Clean the PCB thoroughly with alcohol to get rid of all the goop, and you should be fine.

Flashing LEDs

When doing some floor work, I had taken off the front bottom panel of the dishwasher and there was a pamphlet which had electronic information. Dummy me threw it away, but I remember it had code information on it. I am now having this flashing light problem. So check behind the front bottom panel (remove the 4 screws to get behind it) and the piece of paper should be in there. Please let me know if you find it!
