Question about Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Desktop
I just posted, but thought maybe it didn't go through. My new Aspire One Netbook will not stay running. It powers itself down suddenly without any notice
Most likely it is overheating. The cpu has a thermal monitoring device implanted in it that when it gets too hot it turns off the system so that the cpu does not fry. You have to make sure the vents are unobstructed & that while in use the laptop is on a smooth surface. You can upgrade the fan if you wish or purchase a laptop cooling pad that sits underneath the unit while in use. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my solution. Thanks.
