Question about Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Desktop

Dell Optiplex GX 260

Ive got a Dell Optiplex and needed to log on and it required a password and people told me about the jumper wire on the M.Board so i did that and it required a system recovery I did the system recovery and it loaded up fine and no problems at all except not it wont find the speakers or the printer. ive tried different things and cant seem to do it. please help somebody.

    Ok I dontr know here it wont even find these items in the device manager so do I still need to D.L the drivers from their respective sites???

You will need to reinstall the printer & speaker drivers. If they are not on the cd then you will need to go to the manufacturers websites & download the proper ones for you model #'s & operating system. Hope this helps & please take a moment to rate my solution. Thanks.

    Did you buy this printer & speakers with your system from Dell? If so the drivers will be located at Dell under the support for my system option.

Pop the case and make sure the video card, RAM, and CPU is all seated correctly in their slots, and then make sure all fuses you can see inside/outside the case are in good shape (if applicable)

What is optiplex gx 260 pc's default bios password?my pc ask a bios password,but i never enable bios password.

If this is happening on all workstations you should look at your network settings and verify that your DNS settings are correct.  Also look in the error logs on the server to see if it is fillingup with system or application errors.
