Question about Acer Professional P211 21" CRT Monitor
Hi, I have a 22" AOC Monitor (2230FA), and if I press the power button (in order to access the menu) it says that the OSD is locked. Same for if I press either the up, left, or right button.
Another problem is that when something dark or black shows up on the screen - the whole screen darkens... rather than just the portion that is supposed to. I can still see everything, but its just several shades darker.

For my 917Sw 19"w, I just ran into this problem. It was kinda annoying, but after looking around then remembering to look in the instructions, I found I just had to turn off the monitor, then hold the left button as I turned the monitor back on.

SOURCE: locked osd
Please try to Turn the monitor off. Hold down the Menu button while the monitor is turned off, then press the Power button again to turn the monitor back on. This should unlock your OSD menu. best regards

Suggest you go to AOC Support, Downloads>Manuals, and type the exact model of AOC monitor that you have.
Download the User Manual.
Left-click on the blue down arrow, to the right of this box.
Left-click on LCD Monitors
Left-click on the blue down arrow to the right of this box.
Scroll down, and left-click on the model number of your AOC LCD monitor.
After you have done this, a drop down menu will appear.
Where it states your monitor's model number, and the word - MANUAL, go to the right, and click on the white - Download.
The User Manual is in PDF file form. Give it a few seconds to download.

I held the "Menu" button down for 15 sec. and it unlocked. Then used the Auto Set feature. It didn't work immediately on the two-towned
screen, but corrected itself within 1/2 hr.
