It has worked great for over a month but now when we are play Guitar Hero III on the Wii our notes are not being hit and it will not hold long notes. I thought it was the guitar, so I got a new guitar (although it was not a Nintendo brand) today but it did the same thing too. Is it the game? Any suggestions?

Skipping Cds are not uncommon however if the bottom of your Gutar hero three disk is clean and it starts to do it with other games then it could be a laser problem try cleaning the bottom of your Guitar hero disk that should resolve the problem.
What kind of TV do you have? I've noticed that when I played GH 3 on my plasma TV it lagged until I calibrated it. You might need to change the TV scale to 480p since wii isn't high def. Hope this helps.
