Question about Sanyo DP37647 37 in. LCD TV
These dark markings or spots are wiggly and moving vertical down the left side. it looks like dust or water marking on the inside of the screen.
It is a sanyo dp37647 LCD tv
Your TV has panel delaminaion. The lcd panel will need to be replaced. You can contact Samsung and they will point you to an authorized servicer in your area

1Turn off your monitor or set the background color to black so you can easily identify spots that need to be removed. Step2Apply the distilled water to your clean, soft cloth. Step3Wipe your LCD screen in smooth motions from left to right, going from the top of the screen to the bottom. Step4Let the screen air dry or simply run a dry area of the cloth over the screen again.

take apart the lcd and find the lcd panel number then email email@example.com to buy a new panel from a factory in china
then put it all together

I have researched this problem and it is so common we that own this piece of junk ought to form a class action suit and sue. It is caused by a bad part or bad connections to a part called a backlight inverter. It seems the LCD needs a higher voltage than supplied by the 12vdc power pack so this part re-chops the DC voltage to generate the LCD requirement.
The date of manufacture is on the back of these TVs and all the problems seem to be from those made in 2006 to 2008
