This is a common problem when disconnecting power!
Try buying an ac adapter at your local pharmacy or radio shack and plug it in before changing batteries

How do I program my radio stations on each FM band?

If we are talking a car radio, simply find the radio station and then press and HOLD the program key (1, 2, 3, etc...) you want. It should beep or blink or something to let you know it is programmed. On personal radios, sometimes the same procedure works, but often there is a program or save button on the radio you have to push first, then the button you want, then push again to save. Google your radio make/model and see if you can find it's manual online with specific instructions.

No Sound

It seems to be that the antenna is at fault. If you can take it apart, you should resolder the antenna.

Lock ion a radio station

TO PROGRAM THE MEMORY BUTTONS
Ten FM and five AM radio stations may be independently set. After programming the buttons,
pressing 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 will instantly change the frequency to the preset station.
1. Turn power on.
2. Set the radio to desired station (see Tune or Seek Function).
3. Press and hold one of the desired memory buttons (F). The station setting begins flashing in
the LCD display (G). Continue to hold the button down until the flashing stops. The memory
button is now set.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the other memory buttons.
Please see the attached images for the figure options.

When I shut it off (on AM), it defaults to FM and loses its memory for the AM preset stations. Thanks

Check the back where the AA batteries are, change to new ones as they may be dead as your radio has no memory.

Have the volume control to be repaired, they a cellphone repair shop. If they can't... suggest to bypass the volume controls to its maximum control and buy an earphone that has volume control on it.
