Favourite artist, favourite album, favourite track.
Any of you find yourself constantly scanning backwards to listen to just a segment of a track, time after time?
Right now, I have this problem with Ultraviolence-Still-00:50 to 01:50, and I'm a bit upset that my CD player won't allow me to program it to that level of granularity :o/
I also have a slight problem with the whole idea of my favouritest-ever sixty seconds of music being the middle of an Ultraviolence gabba-blast...
Hmmm...
I'm interested in what other people hit the 'review' button repeatedly for though.

I did think about mentioning Done Dun, or just about anything off Honeymoon in Red, but I like the whole of those tracks, really! :)
Yeah, wonderful! I really like it in Wim Wender's Wings of Desire you can hear him thinking about how he's *not* I'm not going to tell them about a girl..." and then he says it anyway. I saw the Bad Seeds on the Henry's Dream tour and he kept teasing us with "Lemme tell you 'bout a girrrrl..." and then playing something else. He did it about three times before he played From Her to Eternity. I love the bass line in that song too... Sorry, getting a bit over excited - probably my favourite song ever!

The opening sample for Deathwish whispering "I wish you were dead" Can't remember which version it is but I don't need to rewind because it gets repeated through out the track anyway.
On one occaision that I was playing my 6 year old nephew heard it and said: "That's not very nice" in a very calm and mature voice. What could I do but grin?

Kevin O' Gorman < ... Seconded! I can think of quite a few Sonic Youth tracks that have sections I particularly like but I suspect that's probably getting a bit OT?
The bit at the end of Christian Death's version of 1983 from Scriptures. [1] The opening section to Sonny's Burning - "Hands up who wants to die!" and then the drums come in...
(Except I don't hit the review button, I have to move the needle, I've only got these on vinyl!)

[1] BTW, does anyone know what Jimi/Gitane is singing? "I can hear that man is full of ???" It's been bugging me for years!

DCD, that bit on In the Kingdom of the Blind, the One-Eyed are Kings when the vocals start to get drowned out by the instrumentals. From "for time has imprisoned us..." on.
A chunk of Speedway by the Prodigy.
A bit from Psychodrama, from the final track (Heaven is Oblivion, I think). So hey, Ultraviolence are already ahead of the pack.
Tangled Up, by the Cranes. It's a full song, but it's quite short.
The first scream fro Death Valley 69.
And lately, the marxh of the sinister ducks:
"They smirk at your hairstyle and sleep with your wife"
Heh.
