Yep! That's your Problem. You will need to Remove the Head Unit and Remove the Top Cover and Try to Remove that Penny. Will not be Easy Depending on where it is at inside. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

A Pair of Tweezers and Very Carefully. The Box that Houses the CD Unit will need to be Unscrewed from the Bottom half.

Toc error

i have had the same deck for four years and installed and removed from 4 different vehicles. the deck has been through some stuff lets put it that way. mine does the same thing as yours, i have found that you just keep ejecting the disk untill it reads. usually only takes a couple times and then mine works just fine.

Toc code keeps comeing up on my kenwood kdc x5589

Hi, toc error means that the laser is struggling to read the Table of Contents which tells the unit where all the information is on the disc, it may be something as simple as the lens needs cleaning or something as complicated as the laser needs replacing, but you could try running a cd disc cleaner through it first. Good luck......

TUNING PROBLEM

Hi
Check for a little switch at the bottom of the device (You may have to take it out or remove some car parts first). You have to change it from USA to EUROPE. Good luck...

Mabye. I would suggest either opening the unit up and cleaning thr "laser" (optical pickup) with a q-tip. Or try using one of those cleaning cds that have the little cleaner fabric on the inderside... if that doesent work something is most like wrong with the cd machanism wether its not spinning the cd or just not reading it due to a defective laser.. ampman!
