Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
While the machine is filling the water flows heavily out of the bottom. The hoses and belt seem to be fine and the hoses are dry.
Your leak may be at the pump as these will eventually have failed seals and need replacement.
They aren't too hard to find, with the back panel removed, look for a roundish plastic device with several hoses attached.
You can get the part number from the Sears parts 'store' via an illustrated breakdown of your machine and order it from them or, if you have a Johnstone Supply store in your area, you can save a few dollars getting it there.
